The Trustee
The Sisters of Mercy Staff Superannuation Pty Ltd is the corporate trustee responsible for the operation of the Scheme. The Trustee comprises equal numbers of Employer and Member Directors who are responsible for managing the Scheme on behalf of all Members in accordance with the Trust Deed. Details regarding the Trustee and its Directors are contained in the Annual Report.
The Trustee is a representative of all Members of the Scheme and of the Employers providing Member benefits. The Principal Employer to the Scheme appoints the Employer Directors, whilst Members elect the Member Directors.
The Directors of the Trustee Company are responsible for all issues in relation to the operation of the Scheme including administration, investment, management, and liaison with the Employer where relevant.

Dr John O'Donnell, Chairman, Appointed by Employer.
John is employed by the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation and hold the position of Chief Executive Officer Mater Misericordiae Health Services Brisbane. John has been a Director of the Scheme since 9 November 2001.
Ms Jane Vidler, Director, Appointed by Employer
Jane holds the position of Chief Financial Officer with the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane Congregation. She has been a Director of the Scheme since November 2005.
Mr Brendan O'Farrell, Director, Appointed by Employer
Brendan was involved with the Scheme administration and management from 1992-2003. Currently Brendan is the Chief Executive of Intrust Super Fund. He took up his position as Director of the Scheme in July 2004.
Mr Chris Beilby, Director, Member Elected
Chris is currently the Communications Manager for Intrust Super. He was previously the HR/IR Policy Manager for the Mater Health Services. He has had extensive experience in the superannuation industry having served as Trustee on the large Brisbane City Council superannuation plan for a number of years. Chris took up his position as Director of the Scheme in July 2004.
Ms Cheryl Clayton, Director, Member Elected
Cheryl is the Director of Clinical Services for Mater Private Redlands Hospital. Cheryl took up the position of Director of the Scheme in July 2007.
Dr John Hinds, Director, Member Elected
John is the Director of Pathology for Mater Health Services. John took up the position of Director of the Scheme in July 2007.
