Processes

There are steps that an employer must perform or follow for different employee events. This includes, New Members, Resignations, Employment Status Changes, Life or Total and Permanent Disablement Claims, and Annual Reviews. Obligations & Responsibilities

Federal legislation imposes many superannuation obligations and responsibilites on each Employer. This link briefly describes several of the more pertinent employer duties. Each employer must comply with many timeframes, such as payment of member contributions, SGC contributions, advice of resignations. Fines can be imposed on Employers by APRA and ATO if compliance is not met.
